Sports Conditioning Starts Jan 11th, 2021

All who plan to participate must register for “Sports Conditioning” through “Final Forms” (our sports registration system).  Students participating will also need to ensure that their valid physical exam is on file with the school (Final Forms will tell you whether your physical on file is valid).  There is no cost to participate, and transportation will be available to and from the 2nd session each day, for those who require it.

Students will participate in two sessions per week, each one hour long.  Sessions will be either Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday.  Start times will be 4:15pm and 5:30pm.  Participants will be assigned to pods of no more than 6 students who will condition together.  Pod assignment will be made based on the individual’s sports preferences (which students will indicate in Final Forms during Sports Conditioning registration).

  • Sign-ups will need to be completed by Thursday, January 7 to participate in the first week sessions starting Monday, January 11th.  Students registering after January 7th will begin workouts on Monday, January 18.
  • Students-athletes must be symptom-free and fever-free in order to participate.
  • Students and coaches will be required to wear masks throughout their time on campus - before, during, and after workouts.
  • In order to reduce the risk of exposure, sessions will be open to participants only.

COVID-19 Update

Reminder: LWSD fields remain closed - playgrounds, tennis courts and tracks are open to public on evenings and weekends

All LWSD Playgrounds, tracks and tennis courts will be closed to the public during the school day from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. All LWSD fields remain closed 7 days a week/24 hours per day. This is in accordance with city, county and state guidance. Playgrounds, tennis courts, and tracks are open to the public during evenings and weekends. Just a reminder that large, organized activities are not allowed. Play is limited to groups of 5 or fewer. Face coverings and 6 feet physical distancing are required. Hands should be washed after play. Please note that some elementary schools have childcare on site until 6:00 p.m. so play structures may be in use until that time. 

We will update our communities as more of our facilities open to the public.

Sports Only Students

Students who attend Choice, Private, Online and Home School programs are eligible to participate in athletic programs at their neighborhood school as a Sports Only Student.

If you are a CHOICE school student you will need to email JoDee Hull with your name and what sports you are registering for. Once your selected sport is added you will be able to access the sport specific forms through FinalForms (please see instructions below).

Sports Only students must register / re-register with their resident school each year they wish to participate.
