Registration for 2018-19—Already!
Here is a quick video to watch about registration:
We will begin registration with our current LWHS students as soon as semester 2 begins. Counselors will cover not only the requirements for graduation, but also specific needs of each student via a credit check form. Selecting classes needs to be a thoughtful process since course offerings and teacher assignments are made based on these selections. Traditionally, scheduling is tight, and schedule changes are difficult and the process oftentimes frustrating for students who sign up for classes without reading the course description in our course catalogue. (Our course catalogue will be available on LWHS’s website.) Please help prepare your student for this process. Do you feel your student is being realistic in his/her choices? Is the homework likely to get completed on time? What about other activities/athletics? Do the courses support your student’s goals? Your student needs your input, and we need your support. We appreciate your involvement in this process.
Counselors were in classrooms January 29-30 presenting registration information. All students will register online in homeroom on February 5th.
Please bring proof of address in the form of a UTILITY Bill or LEASE Agreement. You will also need to fill out and bring with you a completed Registration Packet (see link below).
For students who will be switching to Lake Washington High School this upcoming 2017-2018 School Year from out of Lake Washington School District:
There will be New Out of District Student Registration orientations available on March 28th, and May (date to be determined). All registration orientations are held at 1pm. Please arrive between 12:45-1pm and bring your new student registration packet with you to that.
Additional fall orientation dates are to be determined.
A complete Registration Packet is required for enrollment along with additional items on the packet checklist. We will have these forms available in our office as well.If you plan to attend ANY of these Registration Sessions, please contact the Counseling Secretary by phone at 425-936-1702 ext. 0 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Provide Student name and grade, Parent name and contact phone number, and which date you are attending. Thank you.
