AP Biology Summer Assignment

Welcome to AP Biology!  This is both a challenging and rewarding class. I hope that you are excited to work hard, learn lots, and have fun!

As an AP student, you will be required to complete independent work both over the summer and throughout the school year.  Unfortunately, we just don’t have enough time to do it all in class. For your summer assignment, there are 3 parts: Part 1 consists of some information to help me get to know you better.

Part II is an evolution webquest covering origin of life and coevolution of life and Earth.

Part III is a photo collage. Part 1 is due by August 31 while Parts II and III are due Thursday September 8, in class.

AP Calculus BC Summer Assignment

AP Calculus BC builds on the concepts of limits, derivatives, and integrals mastered in Calculus AB. You will learn advanced integration techniques and new concepts in polar, parametric, vectors and infinite series. In order to focus on the new topics, please review the limit and derivative concepts learned in Calc AB. Your work should be written on a separate piece of paper and is due the 2nd day of school. A calculator should not be used except for arithmetic.
