Textbook Return

There are many easy ways for you to return your books.

If you are in-person
  • Return your books early next week June 3 & 4 during passing time! We have a book collection bin across from the library on the counter for you to drop your books into.
  • Bring your textbooks with you during attestation June 7th thru 11th, drop of after you attest 7:40 AM to 8:00 AM before school.
If you are remote
  • Return you books now by dropping off at the front entrance during the hours of 8:05 AM to 3:45 PM on any school day. Anyone from household can drop off your books. Waiting until 8:05 will help you avoid the attestation line.
  • Return your books with attestation students; You may drop off before school June 7th thru 11th from 7:40 AM to 8:00 AM.  Be sure to complete your online attestation in Skyward.

FAQ for Textbooks

Can I return ANY textbook including novels?

Yes, as long as you are no longer using it for a class. If you have access to the book online and/or you don’t need or you are not using the physical book that we issued you in September, you can return the book. If you still aren’t sure, get your teacher’s input.

Can I return a textbook or novel from last year?

Absolutely!

Can I return a library book even from a different school?

Heck yeah! We will get it back to the school it originated from for you. This is especially helpful if you have pesky middle school fines.

Can a I return a kindle, camera, piano pad, memory card, etc. during the textbook return date?

No, please do not return anything besides textbooks during textbook collection times or to the library collection drop box. Return all your other items during laptop roll in.

Can I return my computer and charger during textbook check in?

No, please wait until your designated laptop roll in day.

Can a I return books on my non-designated textbook day? For example, if I am a freshman and I brought books in on the Junior/Sophomore day, can I still return my books?

Of course!

Seniors:

Remote Seniors - June 7th (1:30-3:00pm| alpha order by last name)

In-Person Seniors - June 8th (during school day)
 
Seniors who unable to turn in your devices by the dates above: Please drop off your laptop and other electronic offices at the Main Entrance between the hours of 7:30 a.m. -3:30 p.m. on or before June 11, 2021 (Friday).  The Security staff will be able to assist you.
 
Underclassmen:
In-Person - June 14th and June 15th (during school day)

 FAQ for Laptops

What if I am taking an AP test and I need my computer past the roll in dates?

No worries, I got you. Just email Ms. Courage. I will extend your due date.

What if I am planning to take WANIC Summer Courses and will need my laptop over the summer?

WANIC sends us the list of students enrolled in WANIC who will need their devices over the summer. We will re-issue your laptop, you will not need to return them until your WANIC Summer Classes are over. You can always email me if you want to verify you are on the list.

I am a Running Start Student @ Bellevue College, our quarter doesn’t end until 6/22, I still need my computer. What do I do?

Got your back, I have a list of those students. If you are on this list, I will contact you to make other arrangements. You can always email me if you want to verify you are on the list.

I’m a remote senior. What do I do once I’ve turned in my computer, but the school year hasn’t ended how do I log into my classes?

You can connect to your classes using a personal device. If you don’t have a personal device or it won’t work with Teams, please email me Ms. Courage so we can make other arrangements for you.

Can a remote underclassman (Grades 9 thru 11) turn in on remote senior day?

No, you should turn in on your scheduled remote turn in day.

Can a remote student turn in on their grade specific in person day?

No, you cannot. You need to turn in on your scheduled remote turn in day. If you are traveling or otherwise won’t be available on your scheduled remote turn in day, email me.  

How will remote students’ computers be collected?

Students will be dropping off their technology curbside in the main loop.

Can I return textbooks, library books, cameras, kindles, memory cards, cables, piano pads, etc. during laptop roll in?

Yes, whatever you might bring we will not turn away. Please label your name on anything that doesn’t have a barcode. Even if it doesn’t have a barcode, we have notes in your file when you borrow anything from the library. A label can be a well adhered sticky note or a labeled Ziplock bag.
