All student spaces are in main parking lot, starting row 5

Senior parking will be identified in rows 6,7,8,9.

Specific spaces identified are Admin, Staff, Police, Visitor, Seniors

Student spaces are not numbered

Seniors will have the opportunity to pay online for parking passes ($60) from Thursday 8/1/24 through Tuesday 8/20/24 @ 12:00pm.
Process:

Interested seniors & juniors that are enrolled at Running Start with class(es) at Lake Washington High School can pay for parking pass online during the open window (8/01/24 – 8/20/24). FILL OUT THE ONLINE FORM FIRST

Seniors & running start juniors will need to show the following items to pick up pass:

Current & valid Driver’s license

Passes can be picked up in person showing the above items Monday 8/26/24 & Tuesday 8/27/24

Remaining passes available will be distributed through a lottery for JUNIORS

We will inform through email/ParentSquare availability of passes.

If available, we will be accepting completed applications starting Wednesday 8/28/24 until Tuesday 9/3/24 @ 3:00pm for the lottery.

Students may park in Staff Parking Spaces after 4:00 p.m.
Transportation | Metro ORCA Bus Pass
LWHS students use Metro for bus service to and from school.
Free public transportation for riders 18 and under
Thanks to a huge collaboration and coordination effort by local transit agencies, youth ages 18 and younger can ride transit for free throughout King, Snohomish, Pierce and Kitsap counties!
Process for boarding
Riders ages 13 – 18 are encouraged to show one of the following to the transit operator, if they have it:
- ORCA card (Not required)
- School ID
- No ORCA card or no ID? NO problem! Simply hop onboard! 😊
- ·Youth under the age of 13 or without school ID are encouraged to apply for a card, with the help of an adult, at https://info.myorca.com/youth-ride-free/

King County Metro bus routes available to the Lake Washington High School community
Students at Lake Washington High School (LWHS) have the option to ride King County Metro to get to and from school each day.
There are six bus routes that serve the LWHS community.
Depending on where you live, you can take one of the following six routes to get to and from school:
- 225
- 239
- 250
- 245
- 893*- Dedicated routes
- 895* - Dedicated routes
*These routes are dedicated bus lines for LWHS students.
Families and students are encouraged to visit the King County Metro website at bitly.com/KCMetroMaps to view the route maps and schedules. You can also visit the Trip Planner site to find out the exact route and times to use from your home address.
