ASB stickers cost $60.00. A LWHS sticker is required to participate in any LWHS club or sport this includes choice school, running start, home schooled  or private school students. The LWHS ASB sticker will give free admittance into any LWHS regular season home sporting event and a discounted ticket price for away events. The LWHS ASB sticker will also give students discounted dance and event tickets. Students are required to carry their ID card with them during the school day and at all school events. Student ID without the LWHS ASB are issued at no charge. There is a $5 dollar fee to replace any lost ID or LWHS ASB card.

Youth Ride Transit for Free!

Starting September 1, 2022, riders 18 and younger can take transit for free thanks to Move Ahead Washington, a statewide transportation funding package.

Class schedules for all students will be available in Skyward on Friday, September 1, 2023 after 3:30 p.m.

Laptops and textbooks will be distributed the first week of school. 

Your last name determines your counselor. Please visit the Counseling section of the LWHS website for counselor e-mail addresses, additional information and helpful resources. 

School hours are 8:30 a.m. – 3:20 p.m. (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) and 8:30 a.m. – 1:25 on Wednesdays.

Stay informed and involved in your student’s education through Skyward Family Access. This is the way you can access your student’s classroom and grade book information, view their attendance, add money to their lunch account, pay their class fees/fines and sign up to volunteer. Just go to the For Students & Families page on the district website for more information and to register.

For parents of children with serious life-threatening health conditions

If your child has a life-threatening health condition, the following requirements must be met before your child can attend school:

You must supply:

• The required emergency medication to the school
• Health care provider orders,
• An individual health plan, and
• Any necessary supplies on or before the first day of school

Until these requirements are met, your child will not be able to attend school. If you have any questions, please call Health Services support personnel at our Special Services Office: 425-936-1201.

2023-2024 School Year

• Full-Year Parking Fee is $60 (Cash or Check or Credit/Debit card (no American Express accepted))
• Limited parking spaces available for Students.
• Seniors receive first priority.  Seniors may purchase passes on Monday, 8/21/23 - Monday 8/28/23 from 9 AM - 1:00 PM
• All fines/fees paid and paperwork in order to purchase.
• Parking spaces are NOT assigned, the lot is open.  The number on your parking pass does not designate a specific spot. 
• Remaining passes available will be distributed through a lottery for juniors
  • We will send email if there are available passes on Monday 8/28 at 4:00pm  
  • We will be accepting completed applications starting Tuesday 8/29 until Thursday 8/31 @ 12:00pm for the lottery.

9th Grade Picture Day: August 30, 2023, 11:15 am - 1:15 pm (students who miss this date will get their picture taken on Sept. 5th.

10th, 11th, 12th Grade Pictures: September 5, 2023

Running Start students can come anytime between the hours of 7:30 am and 2:45 pm for pictures and ID. Please check in at the office first. 

Picture Retakes: October 13, 2023

The PSAT will be held on October 11th. All 10th Graders at Lake Washington High School are scheduled to take the PSAT.  There is no fee for 10th graders.

11th graders who wish to take the PSAT can register for a fee.

We will also host the SAT test for 12th Graders on October 11, 2023.

The Lake Washington High School PTSA welcomes you to a new school year! PTSA is still very important to the success of your child’s school, even at the high school level. We support many activities at LWHS that benefit students, staff and families. In order to keep our award-winning PTSA organization thriving we need a strong membership. Please complete the online membership form at lwhsptsa.org so that you can be an active participant at your child’s school. We need you!

Student breakfasts and lunches are available each day in our cafeteria. Please visit the Lake Washington School District website for daily menus, pricing, to add money to a lunch account, or to monitor your student’s meal history through MySchoolBucks.com.

Please verify your student’s information in Skyward Family Access. Families must review this information annually to ensure we have accurate emergency contact and health information. This student information verification process opens on August 1 and will close on August 15.

Yearbooks are available for $65.00. There will be several sales windows. The first one being at the beginning of the school year.  Yearbooks can be purchased during the sales windows online through the payment portal or at the bookkeeper’s window (before school and during lunches only).
